WAVE WASHERS (WITH CUT ENDS)
Our wave washers with cut ends are specially engineered spring washers designed to provide a compensating axial load while maintaining a compact profile.
Manufactured from high carbon steel, stainless steel, or alloy steels like chrome-silicon and chrome-vanadium, these washers are formed with multiple waves and feature open-ended ends — allowing for flexibility, easier installation, and controlled spring action.
Unlike continuous wave rings, our cut-end design ensures precise deflection characteristics, consistent preload, and ease of assembly in applications where full-ring insertion isn’t necessary or possible. The open ends also allow for minor expansion or contraction during operation, which is especially useful in systems with thermal expansion or slight axial movement.
Cut-End Construction: Enables flexible installation, easier fitment, and better adaptability to varying groove tolerances or shaft dimensions. Preload & Damping Function: Maintains axial tension between assembled components, helping to absorb vibration, compensate for thermal expansion, and reduce noise. Ideal for Limited Space: Provides spring functionality in applications where a coil or disc spring would be too large.
